Alicia has over 20 years of employment experience at institutions of higher learning, providing support of major corporations and providing social services to the disabled population.  Alicia is passionate about the future of the youth and developing opportunities for them to excel. Armed with the notion that knowledge and education breaks down barriers and crashes through glass ceilings, Alicia developed a multifaceted center that strives to educate and empower.

Nicole Morrison , Director of Career Development  Nichole has brought a tremendous amount of positive energy, enthusiasm, experience, and knowledge to our center. Nichole has been in the field of workforce development since 1998 and is extremely passionate about connecting people to employment opportunities and seeing them get hired. Danielle Sanders,  Deputy   Director of Finance  Danielle Sanders is a finance professional with over 20 years’ experience in Investments, Real Estate Finance and Treasury. She is a goal-oriented professional who can interact effectively with other professional disciplines at all levels and has a recognized reputation for making tough decisions from a finance and operations perspective.  Danielle works as a Commercial Real Estate Officer managing a portfolio of real estate loans totally over $1B. In addition, she serves as the chairperson of the Emerging Markets Committee on her companies Diversity & Inclusion Council where she is responsible for strengthening economic development, providing financial literacy and education in under-served communities.  With her knowledge and expertise, L.A.C.E. will be able to maximize funding, strengthen the internal capacity and develop future, high impact programs.

Donna McGhee,  Board Member  Donna McGhee brings talent, experience and education to LACE.  Singer, Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.  Sung with a multitude of bands. Became a member of the loose collective around  Patrick Adams  and  Greg Carmichael  Sung with  Phreek ,  The Universal Robot Band .  Donna has over 12 years of experience working with foster children in the foster and juvenile justice system.  Donna holds a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership and a Master's in Psychology, specialization in child and adolescent development.

Singer, Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.
Sung with a multitude of bands. Became a member of the loose collective around Patrick Adams and Greg Carmichael Sung with Phreek, The Universal Robot Band.

Donna has over 12 years of experience working with foster children in the foster and juvenile justice system.

Donna holds a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership and a Master's in Psychology, specialization in child and adolescent development.

 
Sean T. Long,  Board Member  Sean T. Long has a multifaceted background and brings experience in both television and radio broadcasting, journalism, coaching and music.  Sean was named one of the inaugural, “50 Men of Excellence”, by the Chicago Defender. He was nominated for an Emmy Award for producing the Chicago Public School High School Basketball Championship game. That same year, he also wrote and produced the Emmy® Award Winning Black History Month campaign, “Snapshots in Black History”, which featured rarely seen photos of famous African-American Chicagoans. In 2008, after the unfortunate passing of comedic legend, Bernie Mac, Sean wrote and produced an Emmy Award winning hour-long documentary featuring people who knew him best, in “A Tribute to Bernie Mac”.  Sean is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. as served on several influential boards that include Black Ensemble Theater, The Friendship Foundation, The Uplift Foundation, Stomping Out Gangs and Drugs, and The Richton Park Youth Athletic League.  Sean was a Youth Football Coach for over 13 years with the Richton Park Raiders, and in 2011, he proudly coached Varsity Football team to their very first Super Bowl victory.
